Or are holidays celebrated in a different way at your home? No getting together, presents? What do you do for holidays? Do you have holidays at all?

[He hadn't really meant it like that. Life wasn't rough, per se, but maybe it would have been to someone like her by comparison to her own world. He didn't know.

He's not overwhelmed by all the questions so much as takes a moment with them. He's not much of a talker but it's not as if he can't. Just usually won't. He starts slowly.]

We have holidays. People celebrate them in various ways. Plenty of them involve gift giving or old customs that people still follow without always knowing the meaning anymore. [He shrugged casually.] I typically work holidays.
