[Now to just make it through that meeting without fucking it up somehow. He didn't want to start a fight by accident nor get too embarrassing. Fine line of cooperation versus keeping his cool.]
[ And so, as promised, Tifa shows up to the aforementioned place a few days later, arriving a little earlier than agreed on to save them a seat; the place isn't horribly busy at this time of day, but it's always better to be safe and sorry. With the warmer weather brought by spring and a reasonably dry afternoon, she ends up choosing one of the outdoor tables for them, where they can enjoy the sun and the air.
(It's not really something she's entirely processed for herself, but she's missed the sun, and the sky.)
Her fingers are tapping awkwardly against the table, although there's still a small smile on her face when she sees Rude approaching, a hand raising in a brief wave. ]

[ Not for the first time since her arrival in this world, she wishes she were a little more like Aerith, open and friendly and able to so easily see the good in everyone. Perhaps that's even part of what inspired her to message him in the first place. It's hard to say. ]

It felt good on his scales even hidden as most of them were behind his usual attire. It was certainly better than the cold winter months that he had endured this year as a dragon. He had not enjoyed that at all.
He approached casually, just another day at business, nothing to see out of the ordinary here. He sat himself opposite from Tifa and offered her a small nod of greeting.]
